My mother, "Granny" to my children, is a remakable woman and I am
dedicating this page to her with heartfelt love.

Granny lives in Mississippi and is a registered nurse.
She enjoys Bible study, cross-stitching when time permits,
good books, and gardening. She also enjoys spending time
with her three dogs, Gator, Henry and Wrinkle.

My mother has always been musically inclined and I suppose I
must have gotten my love for music from her. When I was very
small, we had a car that didn't have a radio in it, so on our way
into town and back, we would sing to entertain ourselves. After
one of those trips to the grocery store, mom was pushing the cart
and my little brother, Mike, was sitting in it singing "Do Lord" to
the top of his lungs! Those were very fun times!

Mom was also in a gospel singing group for a while. My favorite
song was the one about Shadrack, Meshack and Abendigo.

Mom also loves to cook and she can make one of the best chocolate
pies you ever laid eyes on! <grin> I'm glad she gave me that recipe
as I inherited her love for chocolate also! :::giggle:::
