We are moving soon! Time to pack it up and move it out. I am looking forward to having the extra space! Will post new pictures once we get settled at the new place. Lots of things going on right now..work, Emily's colorguard practices, school..never enough hours in the day it seems! Jeff has a new job...Thank you, Lord! 2010 is going better already!

I took Emily, Jake and one of Emily's friends to see A Christmas Carol 3D with Jim Carrey and it was really good! It has been a LONG time since I went to a movie. It got a big thumbs up from the Toney crew though :)
Please keep Jeff in your prayers...he is still searching for a job and has not had a lot of luck lately. Also, please pray for Elizabeth...she will hopefully be coming home from Iraq soon, so please pray for a safe trip home for her! Sending lots of love from the Toney Family!

Congratulations Southaven High School Marching Band on your recent Grand Champion win in Clinton, MS! We are all extremely proud of your dedication and hard work.
I am on VACATION beginning tomorrow...just a mini one though...will be back at work Tuesday. So I am planning on enjoying my five days off :)

Our beloved Southaven Chargers are 4-0 for the season now after their victory against Douglas. Emily is excited because the band and colorguard will be getting their uniforms this week. I can't wait to get some pics! Friday is an away game at Olive Branch and I'm planning to attend that one! Hopefully the rain will CEASE!
I did some work on our site today..hope you like the new look :)
Emily is taking a child development class this year and they are doing a "sugar baby" project. They have to take a 5 pound bag of sugar and turn it into a "baby" and carry it around for a certain period of time. This should be fun! lol Ok...off to make steak hoagies for supper!

WTG, Southaven Chargers and Charger Band! The Chargers won their game against Center Hill Friday night and the Pride of Southaven Marching Band was just amazing! I'm so proud of Emily...she had the flu last week and still performed like a champ at half-time! Jake got me really tickled at the game... One of the players on the other team received the ball and tripped over his own foot and fumbled. Jake looked up at me and said, "Wow....epic fail!" HAHA The things these kids say these days!
Things are going good here...I get my first paid vacation time in 14 years this week. Can't wait! I wonder what all I will get accomplished around here during my time off work...Hmmm

We are gearing up for school to start again! I can't believe I now have a daughter in high school and a son in middle school, but alas, here we are.
Emily is staying busy with the horses, Band camp this week and her social schedule. Jacob is just enjoying his last few days out of school! hehe Pop is doing very well...he has been picking and freezing berries and doing quite a bit of fishing. Sounds relaxing!
Also, I just wanted to ask everyone to continue to keep Elizabeth in your prayers each day. She is still in Iraq and we miss her very much. :(
Stay tuned for more Toney family news and updates... there is ALWAYS something happening around here..LOL
